The digital divide

i just finished reading the digital divide and wow i never new how "technologically" segregated the American education system is.  Theres a saying "the rich get richer, and the poor get poorer" its the same concept when it comes to having access to technology.  The poorer students have less access to computers in their schools meanwhile, the wealthier students not only have access to computers at school, but at home as well.  This divide seems to be getting wider and wider.  Americans need to really wake up and do something about this issue before its too late.
