Databases

databases are a collection of information from all over the world for all different topics.  The use of databases is very common in the scientific community. Since I am a Earth Science teacher the most useful program that has a geographic database is Google Earth. It is very useful when locating any place on earth and if you want to show students geographic areas of certain areas.  It provides a great visual!

Today we learned how to design our own webpages using kompozer. This program is very helpful it bascially converts everything into html for you, so you dont have to memorize all those html codes.  This kompozer stuff is addictive i just want to stay on kompozer and keep kompozin my web page!!!
